Assistant General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal services to our clients and supporting the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective legal services to clients, including contract negotiation and preparation, litigation support, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and supervise a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives, including project management and risk assessment.
- Represent the company in business negotiations and transactions, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Stay up-to-date with legal trends and developments, applying knowledge to inform business decisions and mitigate risk.
- Minimum 9 years of experience as a lawyer, with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
- Strong technical legal skills and expertise, with the ability to apply knowledge in a business context.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company in business negotiations and transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
