About the Role

Aura Kitchens and Cabinetry Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our kitchen and cabinetry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Layout: Prepare detailed layouts and designs for kitchen and cabinetry projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Material Selection and Procurement: Source and procure high-quality materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials, to meet project requirements.
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create custom kitchen and cabinetry components, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting client expectations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our design team, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our construction processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
