Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at 90271 Newfoundland & Labrador Ltd. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Store beverage and food products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You will be required to maintain attention to detail and multitask effectively.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
