Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
