Job Title: Technical Sales Representative for Municipal Markets

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at John Brooks Company. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch field technical sales support to customers in the municipal market, focusing on pump products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide field technical sales support to customers, including product demonstrations and training sessions
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including service and replacement equipment sales
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, including municipal consultants, municipalities, and water treatment plants
  • Manage CRM software to track customer interactions and sales opportunities
  • Participate in joint calls with management, suppliers, and other division representatives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years' outside sales experience in municipal products
  • Experience working with municipal customers and understanding of municipal processes
  • Strong technical aptitude and hunter mindset
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with CRM software and MS Office
