About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Allocator to join our team in Montreal for a period of 9 months. As an Allocator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of sales orders and the timely shipment of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure sales orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped according to customer required dates.
  • Collaborate with production and distribution departments to resolve production and shipping issues.
  • Provide executives and sales teams with key operational and status reports.
  • Allocate inventory as soon as it becomes available.
  • Drop picks to the warehouse and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Advise and follow up with processes unique to each customer.
  • Follow up with warehouse to ensure orders are shipped by start date.
  • Follow up with warehouse on outstanding picks.
  • Advise and follow up with sales reps and customer service for extensions and shortages.
  • Track and follow up on shipments and production to ensure start delivery dates are met.
  • Bring in confirmed orders from EDI Cockpit.
  • Ensure bulks are being reduced.
  • Update order dates and quantities as needed.
  • Verify order details for accuracy (styles, colors, qty, prices).
Requirements
  • Proactive attitude; resourceful, responsible.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel formulas).
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry is a strong asset.
  • Ability to communicate with suppliers effectively and professionally.
  • Proven excellent customer service.
  • MUST have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
