We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Consult and confer with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in respiratory care.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration.
- Current valid BC Driver's License.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
