We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, conducting diagnostic tests, and providing education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including those with acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis
- Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration
- Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area
