Protecting Our Stores, Enhancing Our Community

At Shoppers Drug Mart, we're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Asset Protection Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detect and deter theft and fraud within retail locations
  • Investigate and compile evidence for court or arbitration purposes
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate Organized Retail Crime (ORC) cases
  • Build and maintain partnerships with Associate-Owners and their teams
  • Assist with incident de-escalation and participate in community events

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • Strong collaborative skills and a willingness to support Associate-Owners
