About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Priory Adult Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals with their daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. You will also be responsible for encouraging and promoting independent living, while providing emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting and vacuuming
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in social and recreational activities
  • Monitor and record physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to senior staff
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
  • Empathy, understanding, and patience
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
  • Competent in verbal and written English
