About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Priory Adult Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs and conditions.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. You will also be responsible for encouraging and promoting independent living, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting and vacuuming
  • Assist with attending medical appointments
  • Monitor and record physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to senior staff
  • Encourage participation in social and recreational activities
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
  • Empathy, understanding, and patience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
  • Competent in verbal and written English
