Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Portfolio Assistant. As a key member of our Wealth Sales and Service team, you will provide administrative and operational support to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify gaps and issues in sales and service performance, and contribute to the team's business objectives by building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Expand business growth potential through telemarketing and outbound calls, and coordinate marketing activities and sales materials to support client conversations.
  • Provide detailed information about products and services offered, and determine appropriate communication and service regarding all aspects of investing.
  • Independently resolve client complaints in a timely and effective manner, and escalate as required.
  • Keep current with investment services marketplace, products, and service offerings, and the legal and regulatory environment for the industry.
  • Coordinate and execute specific activities for the implementation of strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations, and gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Provide specialized support related to investment client services, including preparing information for client meetings and annual reviews.
  • Ensure client needs are met or exceeded, and manage requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the schedule and calendar to coordinate customer meetings and office coverage.
  • Meet high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
  • Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and earn their trust.
  • Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness, and follow through on risk and compliance processes and policies.
  • Protect the Bank's assets and comply with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.
Qualifications
  • Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of investment process and procedures, and proprietary products and services.
  • Relevant investment industry licensing for the designated jurisdiction or portfolio.
  • Specialized knowledge and skills, including verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
