About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health & Wellness Outreach, Clinical Counsellor to join our team at the First Nations Health Authority. As a valued member of our Hub and Spoke based teamlet, you will provide advanced level expertise in community-based clinical services specific to crisis and trauma response with communities from across the Vancouver Island Region.

About You
  • You will have a Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology or a relevant human services field.
  • You will be up to date with registration and in good standing with professional regulatory body.
  • You will have advanced training in threat/risk assessment and/or trauma response.
  • You will have 5 to 7 years of experience working with complex social systems or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years working with threat/risk and trauma assessment, intervention and post-vention.
  • You will have a current valid B.C. driver's license and willingness to submit a driver's abstract.
