Your expertise in psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery principles will be essential in developing and implementing resident care plans.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop relevant care plans
* Provide supportive counseling services, including psycho-education to residents and their support systems
* Develop, implement, and evaluate resident PSR plans in collaboration with the resident, their support systems, and interdisciplinary team members
* Liaise with community-based agencies to ensure support for residents
* Participate in interdisciplinary activities, such as resident conferences and daily/weekly report meetings
* Provide consultation and in-services on specialized psychiatric services to other team members, communities, agencies, and groups

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

* Graduation from an approved School of Occupational Therapy
* Two years recent related experience in the mental health field
* Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists - British Columbia (CAOT - BC)
* Valid BC Driver's license - Class 5 and access to a vehicle
* First Aid & CPR Level C Certification
* Food Safe Certification
* WHMIS Certification
* Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance
* TB Clearance
* Medical Clearance
* Immunization Records
