Job Summary

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team. As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining complete technology solutions for projects supporting complex physical and cloud-based platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Maintain Technology Solutions: Deploy and set up servers and scanners, build clusters, and champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Define Business and Technical Requirements: Develop specifications, system performance objectives, and identify system modifications to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Automation and Technology Assessment Teams: Work with back-end and front-end integration teams to maintain and encourage expert knowledge of industry-standard back-end technologies.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: 10+ years of technical working experience as an IT Security Analyst, with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems, Common Network Protocols, and Data Discovery solutions.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with Cloud (GCP, Azure) and knowledge of DevOps, API Scripting, Linux, AIX, Windows, VM environment, Jenkins pipelines, GIT Tools, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Education
  • Post-Secondary Degree: Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field is an asset.
