About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Eastbrook Elementary. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students in instruction, social, and behavioral areas
  • Encourage positive interactions between students and staff
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, including classroom teachers and administration
  • Participate in student activities, such as swimming or outdoor sports
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Post-secondary training is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and reading
  • Ability to assist with all subject areas
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Understanding and appreciation of Grasslands Public Schools' mission and values
  • Able to contribute to a classroom environment that supports diversity and inclusion
