About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Eastbrook Elementary. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic and social needs, ensuring they have a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in instruction, social, and behavioral needs
  • Encourage positive interactions between students and staff
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, including classroom teachers and administration
  • Participate in student school activities, such as swimming or outdoor sports
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Post-secondary training is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and reading
  • Ability to assist with all subject areas
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Understanding and appreciation of Grasslands Public Schools' mission and values
  • Able to contribute to a classroom environment that supports diversity and inclusion
