Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Investment Associate to join our team. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and supporting the Investment Counsellor in delivering high-quality investment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve client inquiries and administrative errors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the Investment Counsellor and other team members, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Process trades accurately and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Manage client account openings, documentation, and cash flows, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, and attend client meetings as required.
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls.
  • Stay up-to-date with RBC policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to strengthen cross-business working relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the investment industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines.

The expected salary range for this position is $41,000 - $60,000, depending on experience, skills, and registration status. RBC's robust discretionary bonus program offers opportunities to increase total compensation, provided business performance targets are met and individual goals are achieved.
