About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at COBRA INSULATION LTD. as a Construction Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, including lumber, drywall, and other building materials.
  • Erecting and Dismantling: Help erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assisting the Construction Team: Assist the construction team with various tasks, including framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Cleaning and Piling: Clean and pile salvaged materials as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on safety and quality. The work site will be dusty, and the candidate will be required to work at various locations.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: The role is physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and the need to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
