About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Alberta Constructions Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted or repaired.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Material Application: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and maintain work spaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Relocation: You may be required to relocate to various locations, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
