At Lycopodium Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our projects team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering and project delivery services globally.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you'll provide technical assistance in planning, designing, evaluating, executing, and handing over assigned projects in accordance with company, client, and project requirements.

  • We're looking for someone who can ensure compliance with project-specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
  • You'll contribute to project control activities, including scheduling, forecasting, and other deliverables, maintaining a consistently high standard.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met.
  • Contribute to preparing contract scope of works and commercial tender reviews.
  • You'll carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, prioritizing safety, environment, community, and industrial relations.
  • Participate in the Project quality management process, carrying out inspections at vendors' premises, and reviewing vendor quality documentation.
  • Contribute to preparing construction reports, contracts, and schedules, managing tender and contract documentation for review in accordance with quality assurance.
  • You'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria and deliverables.
  • Register and file all relevant project documentation according to Company-approved procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' postgraduate experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaborate with colleagues across all business units.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
