Lexus of Vaughan, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
- Explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
- Advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
- Schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
- Accurately prepare repair orders and invoices
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; Preferably within an OEM environment
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- Experience within a Toyota/Lexus dealership is an asset
- Proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
- Proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
- Ability to sell vehicle maintenance
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- Desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
