About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in ServiceNow Discovery and Application Service Mapping. As a Sr. Service Mapping Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining accurate application service models, designing signature-based service models, and resolving discovery data issues. Your strong technical skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving our service management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain service models by working closely with application subject matter experts and mapping out infrastructure components
- Design and implement signature-based service models to identify software components and custom-built applications
- Resolve discovery data issues, manage new subnets and v-centers, and analyze CI discovery problems

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow System Administration or equivalent role, with a deep understanding of ServiceNow design and configuration
- Strong experience in identifying, investigating, and resolving discovery issues with knowledge of UNIX servers, Windows servers, and network gear
- In-depth knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, network protocols, IP networks, subnetting, and network devices, as well as virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
