Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Mapping Expert to join our 100% remote team at NearSource Technologies. This role involves collaborating with service owners, SMEs, and the internal ServiceNow development team to ensure seamless service mapping and discovery processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer the ServiceNow Service Mapping Tool, including creating detailed maps of business services.
  • Collaborate with application SMEs to gather data on key business applications and entry points.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service maps across production and non-production environments.
  • Design, test, and implement new discovery patterns in collaboration with the internal ServiceNow development team.
  • Identify opportunities for service mapping enhancements and develop recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 7 years of experience in configuration management and ServiceNow.
  • Proven expertise in ServiceNow CMDB (CSDM) and ServiceNow ITOM discovery & Service Mapping.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, and network architecture.
  • Strong JavaScript programming skills.
