Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-level software architecture and system design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software architecture and system design decisions
  • Oversee the design team for agile development
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
  • Develop applications from end to end, including microservice architecture
  • Work in a team environment and mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • Equivalent to completion of University, Community College or specialized courses up to 2 academic years
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing and administration of relational databases and analysis, design and implementation of applications in a GUI environment
  • A background in successful project management
  • Experienced with system design and integration, agile and non-agile processes, solutions architect, Microsoft full stack technologies, cloud services, .Net/application development

Additional Information

This is a dynamic position that requires prioritizing constantly. It is expected that this position will lead by example with respect to motivating staff and facilitating change.
