Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. As a key member of our marine engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing marine vessels and floating structures, as well as associated marine power plants, propulsion systems, and related systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and Lead a Team: Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  2. Design and Development: Design and develop marine vessels and floating structures, including associated marine power plants, propulsion systems, and related systems and equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Professional Registration: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  2. Eligibility for Registration: Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
Technical Skills

You will need to have proficiency in:

  1. AutoCAD: Experience with AutoCAD software.
  2. MS Office: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colours. You will also need to be able to combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also need to be client-focused, efficient in your interpersonal skills, and organized.
