Job Overview

Seman Trucking is seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Manager to lead our team of drivers and supervise the day-to-day activities of our trucking operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare regular reports on production and other key metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of drivers and projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to company policies.
  • Train or arrange for training for new staff members to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure smooth and safe operation of our fleet.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities across different departments to optimize resource allocation and maximize productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, recommending personnel actions as necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend repairs and rentals for company vehicles, requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Permanent employment status with Seman Trucking.
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $$65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on the job description and requirements outlined above, taking into account industry standards and the cost of living in your area.
