We are a leading truck centre company seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations of our facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics and other support staff to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Train or arrange training for personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other computer systems to manage data and workflows.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field such as industrial mechanics or a relevant trade certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a mechanical operations setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, CAD software, and industry-standard practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per year. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
