Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Baylis Medical Technologies Inc. As a key member of our process development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Lead the development of new manufacturing processes and technologies to support product development and transfers.
  • Process Optimization: Apply new technologies and methodologies to optimize process design and performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process Validation: Complete process validation for new processes and products, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on process development and optimization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and research and development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process design and optimization within a highly regulated environment.
  • Skills: Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver automated solutions, experienced in Six Sigma methodology, statistical analysis, and Minitab.
  • Experience: Experience with manufacturing process design and optimization, laser welding, reflow technologies, crimping technologies, braiding, coiling, laser cutting, injection molding, and adhesive bonding.
  • Soft Skills: Highly innovative, motivated, and organized, with excellent planning and communication skills.
