Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Professional to join our team at Carquest Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling or overseeing the selling of automotive products to repair shops and commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with district leaders, general managers, and other key personnel to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Implement new commercial sales programs and support existing ones to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Visit assigned accounts to develop sales strategies, identify customer needs, and maintain accurate sales call activity records.
  • Communicate effectively with store teams to ensure customer expectations are met regarding product availability, accuracy, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide feedback and insights to business partners on competitive information, merchandising suggestions, and other services to strengthen our market position.
  • Partner with Professional Parts Pros to develop and retain talent, supporting internal growth and career opportunities.
  • Assist in other functions as assigned by region and area leaders, including cleaning, organizing, stocking, operating POS equipment, and truck loading/unloading.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Advance products and services, with the ability to market them effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Understanding of automotive systems and traditional automotive aftermarket.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, review and analyze business reports, and think strategically.
Prior Experience and Education
  • Proven sales track record with 3-5 years of related selling experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Valid driver's license and fleet safety certification.
  • ASE certification preferred but not required.

This is a sales commission-based position, with opportunities for individual or store performance-based incentives.
