Job Opportunity: Doping Control Officer - Level 1

The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) is seeking part-time casual employees to fill the role of Doping Control Officer (DCO) - Level 1 in or near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Quebec City, Quebec.

Job Summary

As a DCO, you will be responsible for conducting doping control tests and collecting urine and blood samples from athletes. You will work on an assignment basis, and your duties will depend on the specific requirements of each assignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct doping control tests and collect urine and blood samples from athletes
  • Ensure the integrity and security of samples and data
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. kinesiology, biology, chemistry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
