Job Summary

The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Doping Control Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing the Canadian Anti-Doping Program, conducting urine and blood sample collection sessions, and providing leadership and training to chaperones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the Canadian Anti-Doping Program in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) International Standard for Testing and Investigations.
  • Conduct urine and blood sample collection sessions for in-competition and out-of-competition testing missions.
  • Lead Level 1 doping control missions in accordance with the CADP as required.
  • Provide leadership, training, and evaluation to chaperones as needed.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education and/or experience in a relevant field such as physiotherapy, athletic therapy, physical education, law enforcement, healthcare, or education.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with similar French verbal and written skills preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, including professional conduct, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sport knowledge and experience.
  • Previous anti-doping experience.
What We Offer

$18.00 an hour plus expenses.
