Warehouse Labourer

As a General Labourer, you will contribute to building a flourishing organization by performing a variety of general functions/tasks to ensure regular maintenance of the facility's overall safety and appearance.

Your role will include:

  • Picking up bands and lumber wrappers in the yard
  • Sweeping and raking debris in the yard
  • Leveling off lumber piles in the yard
  • Participating in the drywall carry-in service on a variety of job sites
  • Assisting with warehouse duties, including shrink-wrapping product, manual restocking, and general clean-up
  • Assisting the Sawyer as directed, stacking lumber as it comes off the saw

The qualifications we are looking for include:

  • A good attitude and strong work ethic
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Physical resilience: ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy and awkward products, work in a yard and unheated warehouse environment, routinely exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions
