About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically resilient individual to join our team as a General Labourer. As a key member of our facility operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall safety and appearance of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up bands and lumber wrappers in the yard
  • Sweep and rake debris in the yard
  • Level off lumber piles in the yard
  • Participate in the drywall carry-in service on a variety of job sites
  • Act as a driver's helper when needed
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including shrink-wrapping product, manual restocking, and general clean-up
  • Assist the Sawyer as directed, stacking lumber as it comes off the saw
Requirements
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Physically resilient: ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy and awkward products, work in a yard and unheated warehouse environment, routinely exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions
