Job Summary

  • Supports the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including leading elements of large projects or working under direct supervision of an Assistant Vice-President or Project Director.
  • Develops concept plans and business cases for government approvals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Support
    • Provides frequent and timely feedback to staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Supports the integration and training of new staff, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Project Management
    • Develops business cases, including drafting documents and implementing tools and methodologies.
    • Manages or supports market sounding processes, conducting multi-criteria assessments for investment and procurement options.
    • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis for projects, developing financial models for business case and procurement options.
    • Supports needs assessment and development of investment and procurement options, undertaking risk assessment and valuations.
    • Supports procurement processes, including participating in the selection of business, legal, and fairness advisors, and managing advisory procurement processes.
    • Drafts procurement documents, including RFQs, RFPs, evaluation manuals, and reports, as well as project reports.
    • Supports the development of complex contract documents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations
    • Supports client relationships through capable delivery of project work, ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Monitors and responds to client needs as directed, providing exceptional customer service.
    • Supports the development of materials for presentations to clients, stakeholders, and market, promoting a positive brand image.
  • Corporate Initiatives
    • Participates in guidance initiatives, presenting initiatives at internal workshops and promoting a culture of innovation.
    • May be a subject matter expert resource, providing internal and external training and support to staff, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Maintains a consistent physical presence in the office, supporting high-level staff engagement and collaboration.
    • Regularly attends and participates in all staff meetings, educational workshops, and other corporate training programs.

Reporting Relationships

  • Senior Associate Reports To: Project Directors and Assistant Vice-Presidents.
