Founded by former partners of a top-tier national law firm, this team is seeking an experienced senior associate to join their dynamic team and take on an increasing number of files.

About the Firm

This esteemed law firm provides exceptional legal services to its clients since its inception. Established through the efforts of Partners who all came from large law firms, they quickly gained a reputation for navigating complex commercial litigation and regulatory disputes. They are a go-to law firm for both businesses and individuals given their large firm experience and boutique firm warmth and environment.

About the Position

The incoming senior associate will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, handling a substantial file load in addition to supporting the senior partners of the firm. This work will consist of complex commercial disputes, including but not limited to shareholder and partnership disputes, franchise disputes, construction disputes, product liability matters, securities litigation, and class action matters. This work will be done in the support of companies both private and public. The senior associate will also be expected to work on various administrative / public law matters, both acting for and against government and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-year call to the BC Bar
  • Be comfortable with a soft billable target of 1700
  • Substantial experience with commercial litigation / administrative law

Compensation

  • $180,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience
