Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health and Wellness Supervisor to join our team at Saint Paul Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness programs for our students, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and wellness programs for students, including health education, physical activity, and nutrition initiatives.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other staff members to promote a healthy school environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff on health-related issues.
  • Monitor and report on student health data, including absenteeism and health-related incidents.
  • Develop and manage budgets for health and wellness programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health education, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health education, public health, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health education principles and practices.
Benefits

This is a 12-month position working 40 hours per week. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the ASAP negotiated labor agreement. The labor agreement and salary schedule can be found at link.
