Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Nutritionist to join our team. As a Nutritionist, you will work with a diverse client base, including patients with dysphagia, malnutrition, and other nutritional needs. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' nutritional needs, including biochemical, anthropometric, and psychosocial assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans, including dietary recommendations and treatment plans
  • Monitor patients' nutritional status and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of care plans

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registration with the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec
  • Experience working with hospitalized patients (an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Intermediate knowledge of internal software (Eclinibase/eGap, Cristal net, WinVision, SoftLab)
