Job Summary

The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is seeking a skilled Nutritionist and Dietitian to join our team in a mission-based housing center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing nutrition and dietetics services to our clients, promoting healthy eating habits, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the nutritional needs of our clients and develop personalized nutrition plans to maintain or improve their health.
  • Participate in clinical teaching and provide education to our team members on nutrition and dietetics.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to identify the nutritional needs of our clients and develop strategies to address them.
  • Contribute to the development of nutrition and dietetics programs and services that promote healthy eating habits and overall well-being.
  • Work closely with our food services team to ensure that our clients receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the nutrition and dietetics services we provide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • Membership in good standing with the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec.
  • 2 years of experience working in a housing center (CHSLD).
  • Experience working with clients who have lost autonomy and older adults.

Salary Range

$27.62 - $48.94 per hour.
