We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC service technician to join our team. As an HVAC service technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential customers.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replacing filters, lubricating components, and checking system performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or wiring in HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, valves, and controls.
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation after repairs or maintenance work is completed.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify system malfunctions and inefficiencies.
- Valid HVAC service technician license/certification.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including their components, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
The estimated salary range for this position is $45-$70 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
