Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on commercial transport truck systems, including adjustment, repair, or replacement of parts and components. They will also inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.

In addition to these tasks, the ideal candidate will estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, perform scheduled maintenance services, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, Wheel and Rim Mechanic certification
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
