About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at J.L. Richards & Associates Limited. As a key member of our building structures team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting intermediate and senior engineers in the completion of building projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support intermediate and senior engineers in the completion of building projects in concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of architects, planners, engineers, and technologists to ensure project deadlines are met and final deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Analyze and design new building structures utilizing industry-leading software.
  • Develop designs to modify existing structures and design additions and/or repairs.
  • Provide technical support during construction.
  • Assist in creating standard details and procedures for design and contract administration.
  • Participate in continued education through formal technical training and collaborative presentations.
