About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Banquet Coordinator to join our team at Nineteen 05 Kitchen & Raw Bar. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of banquets, weddings, and other special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes to clients.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
