Producer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Producer to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a Producer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that engages our audience and showcases the best of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce video content that meets our high standards of quality and relevance.
  • Oversee the entire production process, from concept to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and develop new content ideas that resonate with our audience.
  • Manage and mentor a team of volunteers and community members to help create engaging local television programming.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local content creators and community groups to foster contributions to our programming.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest production equipment and technologies, and participate in training sessions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and community members.
  • Proficient understanding of media production tools and technologies, with the ability to create high-quality video content.
  • Strong editorial skills, with the ability to develop and produce engaging content that meets our high standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
