Producer - Rogers TV

Rogers Communications is seeking a talented Producer to join our team in Kelowna, BC. As a Producer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our local television channel, Rogers TV.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality video content that showcases local news, events, and stories.
  • Oversee the entire production process, from concept to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with community members, volunteers, and internal teams to develop and implement content strategies.
  • Manage post-production workflow, including editing, graphics, and sound design.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local content creators, community groups, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train volunteers and community members in content creation and production techniques.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of media production principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer.
  • Strong knowledge of local community news and events.
