Job Summary

As a Senior Program Evaluation Officer at SSHRC, you will lead full-scale evaluation studies of large programs and complex projects related to SSHRC, NSERC, or interagency programs. You will also oversee working groups formed to oversee evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and manage evaluations consistent with the Federal Government's policies related to evaluation

Develop evaluation frameworks and analyze data, synthesizing evaluation findings and presenting them to clients

Utilize specialized evaluation techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to inform program development and improvement

Requirements

Graduation from a recognized university, with a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree would be an asset

Specialization in public administration, economics, sociology, statistics, evaluation, or social research methods would be an asset

Significant experience conducting and managing evaluations, as well as developing evaluation frameworks

Competencies

Ability to work within tight timelines and adapt to changing priorities

Demonstrating integrity and respect, effective oral and written communication, and flexibility
