Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Evaluation Officer to lead full-scale evaluation studies of large programs and complex projects related to SSHRC and NSERC. The successful candidate will provide leadership to working groups formed to oversee evaluations and ensure the delivery of high-quality evaluation results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage evaluations consistent with the Federal Government's policies related to evaluation
  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks
  • Analyze data, synthesize evaluation findings, and present them to clients
  • Use specialized evaluation techniques, both qualitative and quantitative

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree would be an asset
  • Specialization in public administration, economics, sociology, statistics, evaluation, or social research methods would be an asset
  • Significant experience conducting and managing evaluations, including experience in analyzing data and presenting findings to clients
  • Knowledge of program evaluation practice, including federal government performance measurement and evaluation policies/standards
  • Knowledge of evaluation methodologies and approaches
