We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodstock South. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate, assign, and review work for staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Operations: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repair work as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Supply Chain: Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to hotel operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of hotel operations.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
- Tight Deadlines: Meet tight deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Work Under Pressure: Work effectively under pressure, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy, client focus, dependability, efficiency, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and organization.
