Executive Director

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to serve as its Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for maintaining an effective and fiscally responsible operating model for the performing arts centre.
Key Responsibilities- General operations and financial management
- Programming and strategy implementation
- Community liaison and outreach
- Staff management and development
- Revenue generation and fundraising
The Burlington Performing Arts Centre is a 63,000 sq. foot facility located in the heart of downtown Burlington. The Centre features a 718-seat main theatre, a flexible community studio theatre, and a generously-scaled family lobby. The Centre is managed by a separate charitable not-for-profit organization with an independent board of directors.

Qualifications- Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading performing arts venues
- University degree in arts and/or business management or equivalent experience
- Excellent financial and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership in human resources management, community partnerships, and fund-raising
The Burlington Performing Arts Centre offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $150,000, as well as an excellent benefits package. We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader who is passionate about the arts and culture sector.
