Industry Segment Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industry Segment Specialist to join our team at Festo Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives for the Food and Packaging Industry in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national strategic initiatives for the Food and Packaging Industry
  • Manage price policy and customer conditions in line with company policies and in collaboration with the Industry Segment Manager
  • Effectively handle strategic accounts and achieve agreed sales targets
  • Coach and train the team in Industry-related knowledge
  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of marketing strategies for the Food and Packaging Industry
  • Support the IS Team Leader, Sales Manager, and Management in providing market inputs and information
  • Collect product requirements of the IS as an input for ISP
  • Maintain opportunities and strategic initiatives for target accounts
  • Actively search for and initiate sales activity with new companies in the territory

Requirements:

  • Technical degree, Master's or similar, preferably in one of the following disciplines: business engineering, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or mechatronics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • MS-Office, CRM tools, Share Point, Business Object
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Specific knowledge in the Food and Packaging industry
  • Knowledge of customer and market structure of Industry Segment, Industry Cluster
